Mira Sahgal

Book: Baker’s Dozen, 2013

Story Title: Stolen Moment

School: Delhi Public School, Sector 45, Gurgaon

Blurb: An impulse brought him to the brink of disaster; an impulse is about to change her life. Two beautiful people; one odd night...

Mira is half Indian and half Dutch. She has an older brother and a younger sister. She’s crazy about animals. Beside writing, she enjoys horse riding (mainly dressage), singing, reading, and spending time with her family, friends and pets. She is also an editor for her school magazine. Mira loves learning new languages: they give her a real insight into different cultures. She also loves travelling the world. Mira says that when she’s older, she hopes to do something that combines her love for science (especially biology) with helping the world, while writing freelance on the side.
