Book: First Light, 2015

Story Title: The Cosmic Afterglow

School: Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior

Blurb: She Had Either gone stark raving mad or there was really something to it all. But who would tell her what exactly was going on? And how?

Listening to Pink Floyd’s ‘Wish You Were Here’ while reading a book for the hundredth time, well, that’s what I’d say is the closest thing to perfection. I’m much pampered. I’m the only child, after all. Though my mum thinks my dad is the immature one, but that’s a secret between you and me. Writer to reader, I don’t believe in favourites—that’s limiting yourself. But I’m fond of blue. I live in Muscat, Oman. I love to travel. I’d like to have a job where I can be in a different country every other day. I’m an introvert till I get to know someone. Either way, for people like me, writing is one of the easiest ways to put your views out there. It is a gift; it makes a difference. I want to make a difference. So, here is a fourteen year old trying to make a difference through her writing.
