Book: First Light, 2015

Story Title: Running On Empty

School: Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior

Blurb: When it's inevitable, it will happen. Then why did everyone keep hoping it would not? And why did no one try to do anything about it?

I am fourteen and definitely a shopaholic and a food lover. I am a girl for whom writing a story was the toughest job one could ever think of. I am neither a novel addict nor did I believe I could write a story. There are many things on my ‘to do’ list. For instance, to see the movie ‘Hachiko’ for the eighteenth time…even though I don’t like dogs much; and to travel to Germany with my friends. I love visiting hill stations. Though this will sound a little strange, but after having been a part of this book, the next thing I wish to do is write stories and attend all the sessions of this project, all over again. Suddenly, writing has taken on a whole new meaning for me. What writing means to me after being a part of this project cannot be put into words. It is simply amazing!
