Book: First Light, 2015

Story Title: The Fan That Stopped Suddenly

School: Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior

Blurb: Clutching her diary in her hand, she felt her breath and heartbeat both stop suddenly... she was face to face with her idol—Arav Shekhawat.

I am one of those few lovers of darkness, who wonders all the time why being a wallflower isn’t such a cool thing. Though I was born in Dadri, I belong to Lucknow, the City of Nawabs. My father is my inspiration and my biggest strength. I am dearest to my grandfather and live to make all his dreams come true. I am addicted to books and dancing. People say I live in a fictional world, probably true, and that has given me the hope to write, to create a world of my own. Writing is a passion and a need for expression. I always wanted to contribute to society, and write some good literature, considering my dream to become a writer. All I want to do is write without stopping and paint a beautiful world which will become a hope to thousands of people like me.
